In 14th century Mongolia, a boy is born with deformities that conceal a miraculous gift: the power to heal. His birth fulfills an ancient prophecy, marking him as both wonder and outcast. Far across the steppes, an 11-year-old prince, twisted by his father’s cruelty, rises to command the army, leaving fear and devastation in his wake. As fate draws them together, the gifted boy senses the shadow of the young general threatening his village and loved ones. Confronted with the weight of prophecy and the limits of his own power, he faces a choice that will test the very bounds of compassion and sacrifice.

PI

Age 19 — Pi is the devoted mother of Xiu Xan, a woman whose life is torn between love, loss, and destiny. Burdened with the care of her physically challenged son, she finds herself unwillingly bound to a prophecy that will shape their world. When her husband, Shen, dies in a mysterious and supernatural act during an intimate moment, Pi’s life spirals into confusion and grief. The trauma leaves deep scars—both mental and physical—but her resolve to protect her fragile child never wavers. Fiercely maternal and quietly defiant, Pi would sacrifice everything—even the balance of fate itself—to shield Xiu Xan from harm.

SHEN

Age 25 — Shen, Pi’s husband is celebrated as one of the fiercest warriors in his village—a man whose strength is born not of cruelty, but of devotion. Beneath his hardened exterior lies a protector’s heart, driven by an unshakable love for his wife, and an unwavering duty to his people. His physical power is undeniable, yet his truest strength comes from his loyalty and compassion. Shen would scorch the earth itself to defend his home, his honor, and the family he dreams of building.

KUBLAI

Age: 11 — Born into royalty, he carries the weight of privilege and cruelty in equal measure. Shaped and hardened by an abusive father, his childhood has been marked by fear, manipulation, and relentless pressure to succeed. Sharp, ambitious, and increasingly ruthless, he rises quickly through the ranks to command his father’s army, leaving a trail of power and intimidation in his wake. Behind his calculated exterior, there is a fracture—a boy still searching for approval, love, and freedom from the shadow of his father. His path is one of ambition, anger, and the struggle between the darkness he has inherited and the humanity he risks losing.

THE NAMELESS
SHAMAN

Age: Approx 900 — After nearly a millennium on Earth, the Nameless Shaman has withdrawn into the depths of the forest, choosing a life of solitude and reflection. Once born into a powerful clan of mystics, he turned his back on them after discovering their descent into corruption and dark magic. Yet his own path was not without sin—tempted by power, he too once raised the dead and bent the earth’s energies to his will, leaving devastation in his wake. The most gifted—and most tormented—of his kind, he was imprisoned and tortured for defying his clan’s ambitions. Now, centuries later, he lives in quiet penance. But when he senses the birth of Xiu Xan, the long-prophesied child, the Shaman’s spirit stirs once more, binding his fate to the boy’s in ways neither can yet understand.
